The other day, my 7yo decided to give 1989's PET SEMATARY a try.

In case you've never watched this classic - I'll keep it simple.
A doctor and his family move to a small town in Maine. Their cat is accidentally killed on a dangerous road. Doc's neighbor Jud tells him about this pet sematary - - - bury your pet and well - - - it'll come back you.

The cat does comes back but it ain't the same freaking cat!
It's got serious, serious cat-itude!

Then - Doc's son accidentally gets killed on that same road and well - - - I bet you can guess what happens next.
Yep - Doc and Jud get themselves in some serious trouble...little cute Gage ain't the same either!

My 7yo really liked it. He really did. He did want to add one comment though.
"That dad was an idiot for leaving that knife on the table."

He was right on that!
Oh and what did I think of it? It's a freaking classic! It's one of my favorite 80's horror movies. If you haven't seen it - it's totally worth checking out.
Another thing - if you haven't watch PET SEMATARY: BLOODLINES yet. Check it out. It's the prequel to the original. We meet a young Jud in this movie.
