On our way home from my "birthday weekend road trip" we had to stop by The Gas Station. I was kind of bummed to see how the outside looked - nothing like a few months ago - but after walking inside and talking with the super cool gal working behind the counter - she told us the unfortunate story of what's been going on with the company who owns the rights of the movie VS the vendors/cast that sell the merch of the movie. It sad and it sucks! (Not cool Mr. Company!)
But - it’s all good. Just “being” there at the gas station was cool enough for me and my 7yo. (he’s a fan of the movie too)
We bought a few horror goodies; Halloween II Michael Myers (for my 7yo) and I picked up a Jason Voorhees Christmas ornament and Judith Myers tombstone Christmas ornament.
We got some BBQ for the road (and bottle of Coke for me) and headed back to Houston. The staff was super nice and helpful, and the place is super cool. Renting one of their cabins is now on my bucket list.
If you’re in the area - check it out and show a little love. It’s not cool what’s happening to them with all the rights stuff.
