This was definitely was a family movie night. My boys had been counting down the days to watch this on Disney+. (Yeah, they haven’t become a “movie theater” watcher yet…crazy. I know. 😂

WHAT WAS INSIDE OUT 2 ABOUT?
Well…before I get into it. Please make sure you watch the first one – 2 takes place right after 1…like, right after...and in the first movie – you learn A LOT about the human characters and you learn A LOT about the EMOTION characters.
In part 2 – Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear and Disgust have been running a good “Human Show” with 13 year old Riley. All is good until Riley and her best pals are invited to a weekend of ice hockey camp and the stresses of trying to make the team, learning her best friends will be attending a different high school and more…plus puberty kicks in...and that sends the emotion console all crazy with four new emotions.
Yep! It gets nuts with all the old and new emotions.
It’s a lot of laughs and a lot of drama.
WHAT DID WE THINK OF INSIDE OUT 2?
The boys loved it! They didn’t get off the couch once and ate all their snacks and popcorn. I asked them which one they liked more and they both said they liked them the same.
The wifey had to get up a couple of times but she was entertained.
As for me – I thought it was good. I found myself enjoying the first one more though. For me, the second one definitely felt it had more about Riley than the emotions.
So far – it’s a great franchise and INSIDE OUT 2 is totally worth the watch. It's a great family movie.
Oh and be sure you to have a box of tissues by your side though - - it's got some parts! 😎
