Last Saturday night, since my 7yo was charging his iPad...he asked if we could start Texas Chainsaw Massacre on Netflix...yep, the 2022 version.
I had already seen it back when it dropped on Netflix so I knew what was coming...he didn't. 😂 As midnight hit...and the bus scene started...he looked me at and said,
"Dad. I think that's it for now. This is too much gore for midnight and I still need to sleep."
It was too funny! I then said, "Ok, ok. We can stop now and watch it later." Which turned out to be Monday afternoon after school while he was eating a snack. 😎
After it finished, I asked him what he thought and he said he liked it....but it was TOOOOO gory. That bus scene really got him. 😂
I then asked him if he liked this one or the originally one better. He said the original. 🤘
As for - I thought it was dope. I really liked how it takes place after the original movie...also having Sally come for her revenge. I thought the whole influencer thing was a cool twist. I loved Leatherface's kills. He did some damage, that's for sure.
